About Us
Cities across the US for decades were designed to be car-centric. This meant you needed a reliable vehicle to be able to get around on a day-to-day basis. At the same time, more and more people struggled to make ends meet making it almost impossible to realize the American Dream. With more people struggling today than ever before, many are just a major financial disaster away from sinking under the weight of financial servitude. In fact, the Federal Reserve in May 2017 discovered from a study it conducted that, “… 44 percent of all respondents could not cover an unexpected $400 emergency expense..”. In addition, CarMD discovered in June 2016 that the average car repair in Texas cost $386.49. That is why Autocare Haven was born.
Autocare Haven has the mission of generating donations to help veterans, senior citizens, single parents, and low income households of north Texas who need a vehicle repair but do not have the funds. With these funds, we connect them to one of our trusted and qualified mechanics who will do the repairs at no cost to them.
